First Day of Mother's Day Out!

Today was the first day of Mother's Day Out for Payton and Reagan. Both kids loved their classes and came home with some really neat art pictures. Payton will go to MDO on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursday, and Reagan will go on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It is hard to believe that next year Payton will start kindergarten.

Where did the summer go???

We have had a great summer! Most of our days have been spent either camping or at the pool. It was time for some recent pictures. I take them when I can...even with cheetos all over their faces.

Payton seems to have grown a foot this summer. We have started buying clothes for the fall, and he is in a size 5T! That seems huge! This is my "little" boy. He was so small for so long and now is growing like a weed. Payton loves to swim. His head stays below the water more than on top of the water. Just last week he started jumping off the diving board and going down the slide at the pool. Math is his new intellectual hobby. He has a number/math game on his leapster and so now we have conversations like "3+4=7".

Reagan is two, and I think she knows she is supposed to carry out the "terrible two" behavior. About a month ago, she discovered the phrase, "no, get away." She also learned how to kick when she throws a fit on the floor. On the other hand, she is such a sweetie with her cute little maternal ways. She loves to play with her kitchen and with her babies. Reagan loves to go to the pool too. She loves to swim with her "tay-tay" - her name for Payton. Reagan has also been growing! Her foot has grown 2 sizes this summer! We just got her hair cut into a bob last week, and she looks like our little malibu barbie!

Children are God's precious gifts...........especially to us!

Our Life in May!

May - it came and went so fast. Highlights of the month: Aunt Jill's College Graduation, Payton and Reagan bathing themselves (pictured), Payton climbing trees and Reagan wearing a bikini. The kids are great! We are experiencing a lot of fun times and some really tiring times too, but we are ready for summer. We have already started swimming at the pool and our first camping trip of the summer is in a couple weeks.

Mud...My Girl's Best Friend!

We have been getting a lot of rain lately, and there are parts of our yard that look like a swamp. This afternoon Reagan and Payton were playing outside and within 5 minutes of being outside this is what she was doing. She was telling me all about how she was "building". Reagan loves the mud! No toys are needed for her. Only dirt and water.

Payton did not want in the mud. He spent most of the afternoon telling Reagan to get out of the mud. He chose to stay on the deck and play with his babies (pronounced BAY BEES). Payton has named all the stuffed animals in the house. His imagination is definately working.

Easter 2008 - He Is Risen!

IF THE SLIDE SHOW DOESN'T WORK..........THEN CLICK "VIEW ALL IMAGES"

HAVING SOME TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES WITH IT, AND WILL HAVE TO WORK ON IT AGAIN LATER.

Happy Easter! We had a great day! The kids have been so much fun, and so hyper as they have eaten TOO MUCH candy! I didn't have time to edit through the pictures from today, so I just included all of them in the slide show. As I looked through them I realized that I did not get any good pictures of the kids in their Sunday clothes before church. Oh Well! When I have to fight them for the picture, they don't turn out good anyway.

The kids had a great time with their goodies from the Easter Bunny. They are at such fun ages! We went to church and then hunted eggs this afternoon. Even though it was a little colder than we would have liked it was a beautiful day to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus! Everyday should be Easter!

Sibling Makeovers

Trying it out all of mom's beauty products!

Payton is putting cream on Reagan.

Reagan's makeover is complete!

Reagan showing mommy all the neat things she has found.

Payton putting on face cream!

I love my children dearly however when I walk into my bathroom and find this mess.......the only thing I could do is go get the camera. My kids have learned how to "sneak", and when mommy is busy they can make a mess faster than you can imagine. This mess was done in about 3 minutes as I was folding laundry. Looks like the childproof locks will be going in my bathroom!

A Little Snow!

On Tuesday, we received a "little" snow. It was barely enough to cover the ground, but we had to get out and play in it since we don't see snow very often. The kids had a lot of fun, and so did we watching them. We are supposed to get more snow on Friday, so maybe we will get more pictures.

OUR PRINCESS ON THE POTTY!

Today while working in the office, Reagan came to me saying "pee pee" and trying to take her diaper off. I finally realized what she was doing and asked her if she needed to go. She immediately went to the bathroom. I sat her down on her potty and walked out of the room. I came back a few minutes later and she stood up.........she had pee-peed! I was so proud! We had to call daddy at work and then take pictures! She then pee-peed again before bedtime. I know we still have months to go in this process, but the first time is always exciting.

Our Little Valetines!

Payton getting ready for school and his party! Sister wanted in the picture too!

Payton and his Valentine box.

Reagan in her "heart" dress her Gree made her.

Mommy, don't take my thumb out of my mouth!

Aren't our little valentine's precious? These aren't the best pictures we have ever taken, but I had to use the camcorder to take them. Mike was out of town all week and had our camera with him. As a scrapbooking mommy, I had to find a way to get pictures. We got them!

Both the kids had valentine parties at school, and we are all enjoying the candy.

Pigtails and Letters

Pigtails!

A model in the making.

Laying with the letters.

Reagan finally has enough hair for pigtails! It is not an easy time getting them fixed for her, but after their finished she likes to touch them. She is such a girlie girl!

Payton is crazy about his letters. He loves to sit and do one of his numerous alphabet puzzles. The only bad thing about his puzzles is that we are always stepping the pieces. We are still working on picking up toys.

Our Five Days of Christmas!

I am a little late, but finally posting pictures from our five days of Christmas. We celebrated four times in five days. We are very blessed to have lots of family, and it just takes that many days/trips to get everyone together.

It was great seeing the kids get excited about all their presents. Payton really knew what was going on this year. He got excited about Santa coming and opening presents. Reagan just loved playing with everything and eating all the food. Both kids really enjoyed playing with all their cousins.

We are very thankful for the time we got to spend with all our family.
