Our Family Fun Day!

Payton and Reagan playing on the trampoline!

Payton was excited about touching the black bear at the Nature Center.

Reagan was so cute trying to jump!

Our precious baby girl!

We sat aside today to be Dumas Family Fun Day! Today we focused on nothing but having fun and spending time together.

This morning we went to the Janet Huckabee Nature Center which is just right down the road from our house. It was our first time to go there, and it was really neat. All of their animal and wildlife exhibits were very kid-friendly so Payton was able to interact with many of the exhibits. Mike loved being able to show Payton all the animals especially the deer and fish. Reagan was a little princess in the stroller. She is always entertained by Payton's activity.
The Nature Center is built beside a small lake. (I would just call is a large pond.) We decided to be adverturous and go fishing. It was a lot of fun. Mommy even got to through a fishing rod a few times. Payton fished for the first time with his new fishing rod he got for his birthday. He lasted for about 10 minutes then Mike ended up letting him run around in the grass. We fished for about an hour then decided to pack up and drive 5 minutes back to the house.
This afternoon Payton and Reagan played on the new trampoline. They both loved it and had a great time playing on it together. It was a great day!
OH! I almost forgot! Reagan took her first step last night! She took a few more steps today. It won't be long before our princess is chasing Payton around the house.

Mike's Deacon Ordination

Our family!

The entire Dumas gang!

Tonight was a very special night for Mike as he was ordained as a deacon at our church. It was a very touching service. We are so proud of him and for him, and as a family we feel very humbled to be chosen to serve in such a position.

The entire Dumas clan came to share the evening with us. It is always fun getting all the cousin's together. With there being three big boys wrestling on the floor is always somewhere in the mix. We had to calm the boys down and get them to stop wrestling in their church clothes.

It was a great evening!

Washing The Bubbles

Payton discovers the water hose!

"C-H-E-V-R-O-L-E-T. What's that spell Mommy and Daddy?"

Payton was "washing the bubbles".

Lady Reagan chose just to stay inside and eat.

Payton spent some time outside with Daddy this afternoon helping him wash his truck. Payton quickly discovered the water hose and soap, so he spent most of his time "washing the bubbles" as he called it. They were really cute having their guy time outside.

Strollin' Around

Reagan and Payton going for a stroller ride!

Tonight before bath time we took the kids for a walk. They both love riding in the stroller. We realized that Payton now had to sit in the back seat when we put him in the front seat and his feet were almost touching the ground. So we had to explain to him that "Big Brothers had to sit in the back seat." He almost made it home before he started pushing Reagan's seat.
Sibiling rivalries do exist at our house.

Happy Birthday Park and Payton!

Payton read all the words on Park's monument.

A precious picture for Mommy!

What a handsome littie guy!

Payton really liked his red cupcake, and now he looks like the joker!

Brock eating his cupcake!

Today was Park and Payton's birthday! It really didn't feel like Payton's birthday since we had all of the celebration over the weekend, but he knew it was his birthday. He got up from his nap and said, "You need to sing Happy Birthday to me Mommy". So I did! We also had cupcakes and Payton's best buddy Brock came over to eat them with us.

Even though Park is no longer with us, it is a family tradition for us to go out to the cemetary and tell Park happy birthday and change his flowers. It is always an emotional time for us as a family, but Payton always finds some way to make of laugh even at the cemetary. This time he wore Reagan's pink sunglasses! Who can resist laughing at a little boy in pink sunglasses?

Thank you Lord for laughter even in times of sorrow. Thank you for our precious Park and the time we had with him, and thank you for the joy you give us each day in Payton and Reagan!

Happy Birthday Park and Payton!

Payton's Time At The Computer

Mike and I are amazed everyday at Payton's intellegence. He is truely a miracle! This morning as I was checking my emails, Payton joined me in the office. For the first time, I actually let him spend sometime playing with the keyboard. In Microsoft Word, he spent about 30 minutes spelling things. First he typed Payton: ppppppaaaaaayyyyyyyyttttttttttttoooooooonnnnnn, then he typed dumas, mozart, vangogh, baby, einstein, big, little, rabbit, airplane, baby, payton, yellow and red. It took two pages for him to type all of that, but he was so proud and so was I! Of course I printed the pages out because as I always say, "That was a scrapbook moment."

Happy Easter!

Payton looking at all the goodies The Easter Bunny brought!

Happy 1st Easter Reagan!

Dressed and ready for church! Good job Daddy!

Our little gal!

He is Risen! Happy Easter! We had a great day today with church activities and being at home. It was fun watching the kids play with their Easter baskets. Mommy had to be at church early to help with the brunch and sing in the choir so daddy had to get the kids dressed, take them to church and bring them home. He did a great job! He even took pictures of them dressed for Mommy. After church, we ate lunch and took afternoon naps. We had our first inside Easter egg hunt since it was too cold to go outside.

Reagan started standing up by herself today. She seems to have "holiday milestones". She started crawling on New Year's Day, and she now standing on Easter. Can she wait until Memorial Day to take her first step???

Yea Reagan! Our girl is now clapping!

Happy girl!

Our precious baby girl is 10 months old today!

Sunday's Smiles!

Our little guy playing in the sprinkler!

Daddy and Reagan! What a pair!

We had a great time in the back yard yesterday afternoon! The kids played on the swingset and then Payton decided to check out the sprinkler. He was so funny! After about 30 minutes he was very wet and cold so he decided to go inside, but not before peeing off the porch. What a little man! Reagan has now taken over Payton's car stroller. She loves it, and has already learned how to honk the horn. Is she not the cutest driver????
